Awards & Honors

This letter of support is provided to Dr. Kumar PVHN Annavarapu and his crew who have recently visited Florida Polytechnic University, USA and captured videos of our students, staff, faculty and our leadership. Dr. Annavarapu and his team handled the project of photo shoot which was highly skilled and professional so no distractions or other disturbances occurred in our university functionality. They were very accommodative to work diligently with our International admissions office, office of student's affairs, office of marketing and communications, office of the Provost and office of the President. Dr. Annavarapu and his crew toured our education and research facility including our students' bridge design competitions which I guess reflected Kumar's passion in higher education and to create such an American Education Project to prospective students, faculty, and administrators of higher education in India.

Having traveled over 80,000 miles and visited nearly 60 different universities in different parts of the U.S., and talking to the administrators, faculty, and students, you have collected a lot of useful information. It must be taking an enormous amount of your valuable time and a daunting task to understand, classify, and put all of this in terns easily understandable to the general public, and this is a humongous task. I would like to really congratulate you on undertaking such an important, very useful, and valuable task.

You and the very capable team which was led by you, had put in enormous time and effort visiting a record number of universities in the U.S. Through the interviews you had conducted with students and faculty you have put the spotlight on those institutions and on the achievements of the faculty of Indian origin in those institutions. I applaud those efforts and express my thanks.

It was a pleasure meeting you on Lamar University campus. I am very impressed by your dedication to interview faculty members in 60 universities across the United States. There are currently over 100,000 students from India in the United States pursuing courses in various colleges. Your program will be very useful for future students applying to the United States from India. I would like to commend your for your efforts.
